The Welding Academy Logo

The Welding Academy

The Welding Academy is a small private training provider that specialises in providing personal teaching following the self paced learning system. This places the learner firmly in the driving seat. Together with the Tutor, the Student sets the parameters of precisely what he or she wants to achieve & a plan is developed with a time-line of how the student will attain this goal.

The huge advantage the Academy has over larger training establishments is that for largely comparable tuition fees we offer almost individual attention as on average our night classes have no more than 5 trainees. We also encourage students to take work home to do welding exercises which saves them tuition fees. Such work can be brought back to the tutor for assessment & advice.

Our costs for night classes are $35 incl all for 1 hour tuition & sessions generally run for 2 hours per night.

Trainees typically start on Mig or Arc mild steel & work towards sitting their 4711 Welding qualification, or maybe just want to know how to set up their own welding plant.
More advanced students learn Tig Alloy or Stainless Steel welding applications moving towards sitting their 4703 S.S. pipe Welding Qualification. We also teach gas welding, oxy-acetylene & plasma cutting.

Whatever your particular training requirements, give Cos or Kevin a call on 03-3773 911 & we will be pleased to assist you reach your individual goal.

Types of Jobs: We specialise in offering extensive Welding Training & opportunities for students to achieve their 4711 & 4703 Welding Qualifications.
